The Solid PVA Bag Ronnie Rig is created with a very short braided hooklink to allow it to be added into a solid pva bag.  Once your bag has melted, your hookbait will popup just above all of the freebies and sit waiting for a greedy carp to take it.

Tips

When using a popup you will more than likely need to add some putty around the crimp to balance it correctly. The buoyancy of a popup will vary depending on brand and size so it's always worth testing your rig in the margin or a tub before casting out. Ideally you will want the rig to slowly fall through the water so it will sit on top of any detritus.  The same goes for wafters, ensure they sit correctly and trim the hookbait so that the hook sits flat and the bait hovers just above it.  Spending the extra few minutes will make all of the difference in catch rates.
